Adjusting to Avi

Life with Avi is like the Hood to Coast Relay. Intense activity followed by little bits of sleep. Shawn is a big help and pitches in when I need a break. He is a geat father and husband.

I love my little family.

I love that picture with Shawn kissing Avi...in a washcloth? She is so teeny.

I feel a little naive...what is a Hood to Coast Relay?

The Hood to Coast is a 197 mile running relay from Mt Hood in Oregon, to the coast. A team of 12 runs it in about 2 days. You sleep about 3 hours and get up and run 3-8 miles and than try to go back to sleep before you have to run again.

Wow, that race really does sound like motherhood! Avi is a cutie! I'm glad she talks about me in her sleep! We are leaving Houston on the 12th of July, so our actual arrival in Idaho is unknown. After today with the kids though, I'm rethinking my month alone with them.
